Fact and Fiction

Alternate title: The return of Knight Rider.

I made this comic while listening to SMA. It helps with the creative process or whatever it is I do.

Sometimes at work, we get treated to a cake, usually for monthly birthdays or a celebration or some kind. On my way to the break room, I passed this large, uncut cake just sitting on the receptionists' desk. Half an hour later, I came back and saw the cake had already been cut up a bit. Nobody was around, I was a bit hungry and was about to grab a piece when suddenly as if on cue, Knight Rider enters the office and delivers that line in panel 4 in a commanding tone. The rest of it happened as depicted in "Fact". Knight Rider is a bit of a jokester and likes pulling pranks on people.

That cake was good, though.

Later, Evelyn came to bug me while I was writing the script for "Fact". I then had an idea for an alternate ending, and told her I was adding her to the comic, to which she was against, then the next day she wanted me to send her a link when the comic was done. She's always like that. Don't ask. Basically, if you liked or hated "Fiction", you have Evelyn to thank.

I then wanted to add a couple of signs. I also wanted characters to hold up said signs. I went into Facebook looking for volunteers, and found three. So now we got Amarylis, Alfredo and Flor holding up the "Fact" sign and Jenny, Shredder and Eve holding up the "Fiction" sign.

All my volunteers have appeared in my gallery at least once, even if you don't recognize them right away. If you're reading this, thanks for volunteering!

This comic reminds me of another comic I made with a similar concept.

I don't need to explain the picture in panel 3, do I?
