Getting rid of the box

I mentioned in a previous journal that my mother's car was in the shop. For a while, Mom had to borrow my car to do her stuff. Then 8 days after she dropped off her car at the mechanic, a friend took her back there and they finally gave her a rental car.

Why the hell couldn't they give her that when she dropped the car off instead of 8 days later?!

Neither of us liked this car, but at least Mom was mobile again. I rode in it once and decided to call it "The Box". Mom had to figure out how everything worked without a manual, because one wasn't included.

Then finally after 3 weeks, I think, her car was finally repaired. This is her driving the box for the last time on her way to get her real car back.

Look how happy she is.

I took this picture on its last day. Look at it! They didn't even spring for hubcaps on all 4 tires! I couldn't even plug my iPod in there!

The box won't be missed.

Maybe somebody else will like this car.
