That's my theory. Where's yours? :XD:

Haven't made one of these since June.

I was watching "Bonds Beyond Time" the other day, and I was thinking about the time travel aspect of the movie. For those that don't know, the protagonists of the first three Yu-gi-oh! series time travel and team up against a common threat. I started thinking which time periods the protagonists were plucked from. First, Yugi came from somewhere between Grand Championship and Dawn of the Duel... maybe after Capsule Monsters too. Jaden came from the end of GX, so he's safe from anything time related that could happen, and Yusei came from before the World Racing Grand Prix storyline in 5D's. After watching these series from beginning to end, I've noticed that Jaden keeps his special powers after his series ends, while Yugi and Yusei don't.

Yugi got his power from the gold pyramid (millenium puzzle) he wears around his neck which he loses at the end of his series as well as other similar magical gold artifacts. Yusei gets his powers from a birthmark/tatoo on his right arm. At the end of that series, Yusei and those like him lose the birthmarks/tatoos after it was decided they didn't need them anymore. Jaden's powers came from stuff that happened in season 3 of GX. Dramatic stuff involving spirit bonding with a demon that has heterochromia and some evil gold-eyed look-alike in another dimension. In season 4, he controls these powers when needed and apparently doesn't lose them at the end of his series, although this wasn't Jaden's first time travel adventure.

All the Yu-gi-oh! protagonists have powers at some point in their series, whether they started the series with them or they gained them later on. I wonder what would happen to the powers of the newest protagoinst (Yuma) at the end of that series. Also, why did Jaden get to keep his powers while the others didn't?!

When did I go off-topic here? Remember, its not spoilers if its been out for a while, also Google and Wikipedia are there for any questions you might have.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!

Yu-Gi-Oh is the property of Konami and Kazuki Takahashi.
The picture is not mine, but the frame and text are.

Well, Judai fused himself with Yubel. No other protagonist fused himself with his soulmate/dragon stuff, and not only that but Judai did that with the most powerful card ever. Superfusion was made by Haou gathering counteless souls from duelists all over the 7 dimensions, it could even fused dimensions that is some powerful shit there.
However I wouldn't say he gained many powers from Yubel. After her arc she only appeared against Darkness and Atem, in the later she didn't do anything special. Outside of a duel the only power she showed was when she stop Honest from brainwashing Judai.

But I gotta somebody on the staff really like Judai, he had protagonist luck two transformations, Haou and Yubel and as a bonus he gained a millenium item(the shadow charm he get from Fubuki and the gravekeeper assailant)
