Stupid Idea

I hate people that do this. At the drive thru, the tollbooth, anywhere.

Some people actually pay good money for a special film to put on their car windows to keep out sunlight. It's like sunglasses for cars. People put them on all their windows BUT, there's a catch. You can never roll down your windows again, unless you want the film to come off.

As a result, whenever there is a situation that requires one to roll down a window, they'd have to open the door instead. By doing this the person is more vulnerable that they would have been with the open window. Somebody could take advantage at that point and enter the vehicle... like a harmless looking bum asking for spare change.

When I see this, I always roll down my window and yell to them "¡Canto de Vago!" which means "Lazy-ass!"

I took this picture yesterday when I was at Wendy's. I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Here's a great idea! A woman goes to Wendy's to purchase a #4 combo, she can't roll down the window so she has to open the door to place her order and simultaneously talking to her passenger. But, this scene takes place at night around 10 p.m. and there's some guy lurking around asking for change AND she's distracted.

Isn't THAT a great idea?!


There is almost always some vagrant lurking around this Wendy's. They wait at the menu board and the pick up window expecting to guilt somebody of change.

The only way I'd overlook or even understand this situation is if the car window was covered in a plastic bag, or when the door is open there was a lack of a window handle, then the driver would have no choice but to open the door.

It's not just a bad idea, its a stupid one. Buy some sunglasses instead if you're driving during the day because that film does squat at night.

Oooooohh, you know what else sounds like a good idea? Running in traffic, on the freeway.
